Kyle's Senior Session

When I first met Kyle it was down at the Lake of the Ozarks.  I have always heard how great of a baseball player he is and to my surprise I heard he was an even better golf player.  So we got a few photos of him in his favorite sport.

The Hanna Family...dah-da-dum-dah-da-dum...The Hanna Family!

Tonight I met my brother, sister-in-law and 2 nephews for a family session and I brought with me two items to get kids smile and laugh to look at me while taking photos, and low and be hold Jackson love the noisy chicken!  Thought the one with him holding the stuff was too cute not to post! Love you little buddy!  Here are a quick few pictures from tonight's session!  And thanks again Seth and Christi for dinner (Sam says thank you too he enjoyed his chicken fingers)!

The big 4!

This past weekend was my nephews 4th birthday party!  Man, I barely saw him, he was having way more fun outside with the new neighborhood kids, all his cousins and my brother's friends outside playing.  Oh to be a kid again with no worries in the world!

So a few days before the birthday party I hear the family frog passed away and I was told that Jackson was wanting a new frog for his birthday, so yes, Aunt Heather and Sam decided to get him a new one.  Honestly, I am not sure who was more excited about the new frog, Jackson or his mom, but at any rate they now have a new addition to the family!

Jackson was definitely not interested in taking pictures that day but I sure did finally find some one! Little Miss Riley, wow!  What a super model she was and such a cute little girl!  She sure did know how to strike a pose for me!  Watch out Dad, you have got a handful on your hands when she hits her teenage years!

Our last Boat Ride of 2011

Over Labor Day weekend Sam and I headed out for what was probably our last summer boat ride of 2011!  I really dislike Labor Day weekend because this means "fun in the sun" has come to an end.

However, we great time, a gorgeous day and had a fantastic boat ride.  The objective for the day was to find the perfect locations to take pictures in between our ceremony and reception next June!  Yes, we are taking a boat ride in between the ceremony and the reception instead of a bus, how great is that!  Here is a few snapshot of the locations and the day!
Coconuts will be one of the stops that day for pictures, which has a nice sandy beach, an ice cream shop, and cabana's which will make for some great pictures.  Additionally, not pictured we will head down to the end of the this cove for some other picture opts at Hilly Billy Yacht Club.  Yes, the name is yes exactly what you think this place looks like....a true Hilly Billy establishment!
This here is the reception location! This yes is a swim up bar!  We are going as beach style as we can in Mid Missouri!

Out for a Morning Run

This morning I lace up my tennis shoes and head out the door for what I think is just another morning workout run!  Everything seems normal so far right!  Sure it is just another run, but this funny little thing that happened to me along my run today, just made me smile, and I thought I would share with you!

So I am running the same path I run every morning (well at least 4 work day a week) for the last few weeks, and now that school is back in session, I see the bus pick up kids at about the same point every morning, you would think the bus driver would start to recognize me.  Nope!  So here I come running down the hill and approaching the end of the street where she picks up 2 girls... I see the 2 girls get on and the bus, driver closes the door begins to pull off until she sees me running down the hill.  Not only does she stop again she re- opens the door as I get to the end of the street and then here I go as I turn the corner to continue running.

Thank you lady bus driver for thinking I was so young!

Callie's First Lake Bath

Well the labor day weekend truly feels like the end of summer to me, what a sad weekend of no more swimsuits and sun! But I guess I will say I am ready for shorts and sweatershirt weather.  This weekends weather was great, food was good and had all in all a pretty relaxing too.   During this relaxing weekend we decided to do what Callie hates the most and that is bath time!  What better way to do this at the lake than the good ole fashion "LAKE BATH!"  Need I say more with that face below, of mom get me out here!!!  A little Irish Spring bar soap rinsed off with lake water= almost a good smelling dog!
